About the Society

Fisheries Science Society (FSS)

The Fisheries Science Society was established in 2014 at the University of Jaffna. It is a student-led community that brings together learners in marine and fisheries science to grow, share and serve.

Through academic events, publications and outreach, the society builds students' academic, technical and leadership skills while supporting the well-being of coastal communities.
