Foreign Training

  1. I have been awarded to undergo a one-semester exchange study programme at The Arctic University of Norway (UiT), Tromso, Norway, under the NOR-LANKA BLUE project, which has been established by the UiT in partnership with University of Ruhuna, University of Jaffna and NARA. I followed the master degree course modules Marine Arctic Pollution, Model theory and data processing methods and Mini Research Project for 30 European credits at the UiT.

  1. I visited the Institute of Marine Research (IMR), Bergen, Norway, from January 25–29, 2021, and learned method for plastic polymer analyses by ATR-FTIR and analyzed polymer types in microplastic samples from my field work.
